Carbon Nanotubes to Enhance Ultracapacitors.

Riccardo Signorelli, Joel Schindall, and John Kassakain from the MIT's Laboratory for Electromagnetic and Electronic Systems (LEES) have reported at a recent meeting of the 15th International Seminar on Double Layer Capacitors and Hybrid Energy Storage Devices in Deerfield Beach, Fla., in December 2005 about the uses of nanotube structures to improve the effeciency of storing energy. This can be one of the most significant and economically viable improvements made in battery design since its invention nearly the 200 years ago.
